Heather brings focus, empathy, and sharp analytical thinking to user experience and accessibility strategy. At Digital Wave, she works across disciplines to uncover user needs, identify friction points, and shape thoughtful, accessible solutions that work for real people of all user groups.
With a background that spans user research and testing, visual and interaction design, and accessibility strategy—as well as professional experience as a registered nurse—Heather sees patterns others miss and connects ideas across systems. She’s known for her ability to give words to ambiguous gray space, organize the unorganized, jump into any task with ferocious energy, as well as her own unique mix of spooky-funny.
Heather is a board game enthusiast and collector of vintage VHS tapes. She spends her off-hours hiking, camping, reading, and making up bad jingles to sing to her pets, Minnie & Ozzy (dachshunds), and Einstein (cat).
