Thomas Jefferson University and Digital Wave® started collaborating to migrate Jefferson’s suite of websites into Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) beginning in 2010. From there, our work expanded into site rebuilds and redesigns, along with an e-publication prototype launch and custom eLearning video content. We’ve worked extensively with the Jefferson team to define and adjust their requirements along the way, establishing strategies and standards for future content migration, management, and evolution. We continue to support the team with ongoing maintenance, content population, and additional site launches across several schools, departments, and campaigns, along with other special projects like the Interactive Curricula Experience (iCE) platform and app.
Our projects with Jefferson have involved:
- User research and discovery
- Technical assessment, content management system (CMS) selection, and functional requirement documentation
- Frontend and backend programming (Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal, Kentico, Ingeniux, Sitefinity, Cascade Server)
- App development (iOS)
- UX consultation and strategy
- Information architecture extension and design
- Content strategy, writing, mapping, population, and support
- Custom design and design extension, including template and component expansion and adjustments
- Ongoing maintenance support
