Seeking an intern with a passion and desire to advance in web development and other support tasks related to web content and design. In this position, you’ll provide WordPress programming, content population services, and will assist with internal efforts to document and instantiate new company-wide processes and procedures.

This is a part-time internship position with hourly pay. Negotiable start and end dates within the May 2017 – August 2017 timeframe. Flexible working hours, located in our Huntingdon Valley, PA office.

Responsibilities will require:

  • WordPress programming
  • Familiarity with web design practices and standards
  • Collaboration with internal and client cross-functional web teams
  • Populating content on internal and client websites, in multiple content management systems
  • Helping to establish and document new company processes
  • Information technology experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Seeking an experienced UX strategist to synthesize client objectives with end user goals and expectations to generate strong, user-centric strategic solutions for the web, in service to a primarily higher education and healthcare clientele. In this role, you will be a key consultant on a web design and development team, heavily involved at the outset of new projects to define initial strategies, and in a support role over the course of several projects to collaborate with visual designers and content strategists in the continuing evolution of the user experience design. You will work with high-profile client contacts and web communication teams alike, with an unwavering commitment to the end user’s needs and how best to meet them. You will be heavily involved in information architecture, and will take part in a depth of user experience design and testing activities.

Minimum five years’ of experience in web strategy is required. Bachelor’s degree in communications-related area of study preferred, but may be outweighed by demonstrable experience, strength of portfolio, and industry training, particularly in the fields of higher education and healthcare.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assessment and analysis of existing client websites, business strategies, and KPIs
  • Formulation of strategies and general approaches to inform discovery & testing, content development, information architecture, and visual design processes
  • Quality oversight of resulting solutions
  • UX consultation and problem-solving through direct client contact
