Lamar helps teams understand their users more deeply—providing real user insight so the team can deliver clear, focused decisions. As User Research Director, she leads research strategy and testing for Digital Wave, bringing together curiosity, clarity, and care in service of better, more inclusive digital experiences.

With a background that spans content, information architecture (IA), user experience (UX), and strategy, Lamar often bridges gaps between disciplines—connecting big-picture thinking with hands-on collaboration. She’s especially drawn to emerging questions around the ethical use of AI, and how thoughtful technology can bring out the best in us. She’s a longtime student of communication models like Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which inform how she listens and works with teams.

Daughter to two octogenarians and parent to two young adults, she’s usually found watching or playing women’s ice hockey, crocheting hats, savoring new foods with friends, or tending to her growing family of houseplants.
