The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's mission — to improve health and healthcare for all Americans — affords the organization a unique opportunity to disseminate great quantities of statistical data that might otherwise be overlooked, and distribute it to the general public. In a long-running series of special interactive reports, Digital Wave has worked with the Foundation to display cogent facts about American health habits, needs, and limitations, without requiring users to wade through tables of numbers. One example of these features is the Dartmouth Institute's Dartmouth Atlas Project, which cited significant regional disparities in Medicare spending across the U.S. Additional Foundation projects over the last decade have included the intranet/extranet, discovery and recommendations for an organization-wide document management process, and the Foundation's e-Newsletter.
