MedImmune is a biotechnology firm dedicated to advancing science and medicine to help people live better lives, focusing on the areas of infectious diseases, cancer and inflammatory diseases. In 2002, Digital Wave helped overcome the challenge of serving three distinct audiences – medical professionals, self-educating consumers, and the financial community – with information and resources most applicable to their online objectives. The resulting interface was designed to allow for ongoing expansion by the company's capable internal development staff. Within a few years, however, the company's public image was beginning to expand due to newly marketed products. Having effectively maintained and extened the original site's architectures and protocols, the company was able to leverage the original foundation in creating a more expansive online image.
