A not-for-profit organization, GEF was founded to improve both the quality of and access to Continuing Medical Education for healthcare professionals. Its CMElectures.org division is the only group that dedicates 100% of its programming to original medical lectures for online learning. In its ground-breaking initiative, GEF provides physicians and other health care professionals with a convenient 24/7 method of obtaining continuing education and CME certification without leaving their home or office, and without the influence of sponsorship by pharmaceutical companies. Through in-depth strategic services, architecture & design and ongoing support, Digital Wave helped GEF create the complex back-end solution and public interface required to offer online course registration and fulfillment on a subscription basis, provide interactive online lectures to members, and tabulate and report the accumulation of CME credits.
